Oooooh my gosh, I got to do my very first video call ever, and it was with my ults! One minute goes by SO FAST, but I'll treasure this call forever. I told Yongguk that I've been a BABY since debut, and that B.A.P has dones so much for me, so I just wanted to thank him for everything. He seemed so genuinely touched, and how he replied by saying that these moments (getting thanked like that) were special made my heart so incredibly full. I was also going to ask about how Tigger was doing, but despite having notes ready, I blanked entirely and forgot to look at them. That's where the "see me" moment happened, and gosh, he's such an amazing soul! For Daehyun, he opened immediately by pointing out my albums behind me, and his reaction to them made me smile so much it hurt! I mostly just got to tell him I was a singer, and his voice has been a huge influence on me, which you can see in the gifs above. He also seemed really touched, and I'm so glad I could give him that. He's taken such a leap coming back with the troubles he's been having, and I just wanted him to know how much BABYz appreciate and love him. Again, I meant to ask about Ganji, but forgot to check my notes lol. For Jae, I'm afraid I may have been speaking too fast in general to him. I kept having to remind myself to slow down when he got a confused expression, and I felt bad about it. I asked him if he planned to do a solo album after his musical, and he said that he doesn't plan to right now. I told him that whenever he does, I'll be looking forward to it. Then there was an awkward pause, because again, I blanked, but I did get to tell him I've been a BABY since debut, which seemed to make him happy! Jongup was such a sweetie! I thanked him for getting the four of them back together for Curtain Call, and told him that I was so grateful. I also complimented his hair, because gosh, it looks so good! Then he noticed the albums as well, and I showed him like I had Dae, and he was also quite impressed haha! His little eyebrow raise at the end of his heart was the cutest thing! I know it's not a lot, but I hope that this recounting makes some BABYz out there smile at least a bit. I've been following B.A.P for so long, and they've meant so much to me, and this experience only made me love them more (if that's possible). I have no words to express the fullness of my heart right now, so I'll leave it at that!

my hand reaching out to you is my chosen fate - big fandom foray with my hero academia, but honestly not proud of this fic anymore. not really read much anymore, had a huge covid popularity surge

kickstart my heat (hope it never stops) - 1st kinnporsche fic, i honestly just love this one. it was really fun to write even if it's 85% exposition. wrote all 15k listening to the the motley crue song

falling (feels like flying) - for the tv show wednesday, i wanted hurt/comfort fic. became popular bc i wrote it right after the show aired.

10. do you write crossovers? what's the craziest one you've written? kind of. most are the nct crossovers (with superm, exo, etc). the favorite crossover was fall apart slowly, a 97 line fic with minghao and winwin lol. my craziest one was a day6 spiderman au with like, 25+ english speaking idols, bc why not.

dialogue. i hate writing conversations. also honestly writing romance, it always feels so unnatural. also, i sometimes just want a fic to be finished, so i just give it an ending without properly reaching that point so it feels lackluster

17. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? depends. one-off in a fic? totally fine, esp. if the point is that it's not understandable to the other party. but if it's throughout a fic, just use italics imo -> probably some scenario i am forgetting but overall thoughts

18. first fandom you wrote for? sonic the hedgehog. no longer have the original document though. first on ao3 was final fantasy xv.

19. favorite fic you’ve written? it was me (who was discovered) - a fun pre-canon final fantasy xv looking at ignis and ravus, it's not necessarily my best work but pretty dif. for me and was cool to explore their dynamic however heavy it may seem - a super junior fic, but always have been proud of the frame story format i used. also so many little details lights turned off can be turned on - yoongi-centric bts fic, i honestly really liked how i wrote depression in this fic... hope that doesn't sound odd -- if you read any of this, thank you! would love to hear what people have to say on their own writing, if you see this, absolutely feel free to do it (and tag me!!). i don't really know any writers on here haha

Homecoming at Sunset

The shrill buzz of the kitchen timer echoed through the house, signaling the cookies were ready. Smiling, you jumped up from the couch and rushed to the stove. With a few quick taps, you silenced the timer and turned off the oven. Grabbing the potholders, you opened the oven door and carefully pulled out the baking sheet, setting it on the cooling rack above the stove. The sweet, buttery aroma of homemade chocolate chip cookies filled the air, and you couldn't help but beam at the sight of their golden perfection. After putting the potholders back in their place, you headed to your room to get ready for the evening.

Today was your boyfriend Yongguk's birthday. For weeks, you and his closest friends had been planning a surprise party at the beach to welcome him home from B.A.P's three-month-long world tour. While Yongguk and the others were unpacking and freshening up after their flight, you'd been busy cooking some of his favorite foods, filling the house with scents you knew he loved.

Slipping into your black strapless dress adorned with white tropical flowers, you let the fabric settle at mid-thigh and paired it with black sandals to match. You moved to the bathroom, pulling your hair free from the messy bun it had been tied in, letting your wavy locks fall to just below your mid-back. With a few strokes of your brush, you smoothed out the tangles, making sure every strand fell just right. After a final glance in the mirror and a few finishing touches, you smiled in satisfaction.

A chime from your phone drew your attention. Picking it up from the bed, you read Daehyun's message: We're at the beach and ready when you are. Smiling, you typed back a quick reply: Just finished up here. Be there soon.

Grabbing your purse and keys, you hurried downstairs to pack the last of the food into the wicker picnic basket. You carefully added a few cookies into a sandwich bag and placed it alongside the other dishes, double-checking that nothing was forgotten. Then, with everything loaded into your car, you started the engine and set off for the beach. Excitement bubbled within you, and you couldn't stop smiling, your thoughts consumed by the prospect of seeing Yongguk again after so long.

When you arrived, you spotted the familiar black van parked by the beach. Instead of pulling up beside it, you parked a few spaces away, just in case Yongguk returned to the van for something. Texting Daehyun to let him know you'd arrived, you stepped out and began unloading the basket when you felt a light tap on your shoulder.

Turning, you found Daehyun standing there, grinning. You immediately hugged him tightly. "It's so good to see you again! How was the tour?"

"It's good to see you too," he said with a laugh. "The tour was amazing, but we're all glad to be home. Especially Yongguk—he wouldn't stop talking about you."

You chuckled, shaking your head. "I'm glad you guys had fun. And sorry about that—you know how he gets."

Together, you carried everything to a nearby picnic table, where Daehyun had already laid out a tablecloth. As you set out plates, cups, and utensils, Daehyun headed back to the others, leaving you to straighten out your dress and hair one last time.

A burst of laughter drew your attention to the group approaching the picnic area. You noticed Yongguk struggling against the blindfold his friends had placed over his eyes, his muffled protests making you giggle.

The group stopped a few feet away, and Youngjae removed the blindfold. Yongguk blinked a few times, adjusting to the bright sunlight. When his eyes landed on you, his jaw dropped slightly in surprise. You smiled softly, raising a hand in a small wave.

"Happy birthday, Yongguk," you said warmly.

Without a word, he closed the distance between you, wrapping his arms tightly around you. His embrace was firm yet gentle, his familiar warmth enveloping you completely. You buried your face in his chest, taking in his scent, the ache of missing him finally easing. After a moment, he pulled back just enough to cup your face with his hands, his deep brown eyes locking with yours before he leaned down and pressed his lips softly to yours.

The kiss was sweet and unhurried, the faint taste of salt lingering on his lips from the ocean breeze. You wrapped your arms around his neck, kissing him back until the sound of the others clearing their throats brought you both back to reality.

"Happy birthday, Yongguk!" the group chorused, patting him on the back as they ushered him toward the table. He didn't let go of your hand the entire time.

The celebration carried on for hours, filled with laughter, teasing, and stories of the group's tour. As the sun began to set, Yongguk turned to you, his hand still in yours. "How about we grab a blanket and watch the sunset together?"

Smiling, you nodded. He grabbed the blanket from the bench and, after letting the others know, led you down the shoreline. The warm sand shifted beneath your feet as you walked hand in hand, the rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore creating a perfect backdrop.

Finding a quiet spot, Yongguk spread the blanket out, settling down and pulling you close between his legs. You leaned back against his chest, stretching your legs out in front of you as his arms wrapped securely around your waist. Together, you watched as the sun dipped below the horizon, its fiery hues reflecting on the ocean's surface.

A cool breeze swept through, sending a shiver down your spine. Feeling you tremble, Yongguk tightened his hold, running his hands gently up and down your arms to warm you. He leaned down, pressing soft kisses to your neck before resting his chin on your shoulder.

Turning your head slightly, you met his gaze, his brown eyes soft and full of affection. He leaned in, capturing your lips in another kiss, this one slower and more tender, as if savoring the moment.

When you finally pulled away, you turned back to the ocean, letting the soothing sounds of the waves wash over you. His arms tightened around you, and in a whisper, you said, "Welcome home, Yongguk. Welcome home."

     gaze flickered over eva's features and there's so much love shining in his eyes, mixed with a form of gratitude that his vulnerable side and panicked state hadn't scared her away  ;  having before used it to push people away who had gotten too close  —-  but yongguk wished for eva to be close to him.  " she was a bit of a brat but, i bet some would say the same about me in certain episodes. "  being stubborn by nature meant that it wasn't anything he'd just agree to, attitude able to come of as a bratty even by him.  " yeah ? "  warm smile takes an appearance on his face then, watching as rosy petals meet his knuckles and he then grasp her hand and urges her closer to him, bodies flush and hand rise between them to cup the side of her nape  ;  thumb caressing along eva's jaw.  " i would say i'm in the best hands now. "  inching forward to press a soft kiss to opposite lips, savoring the moment a while longer before words were heard from him again.  " want to watch a movie to fall asleep to or something else ? "  enjoying the warmth she was radiating right now, not truly wishing to move anywhere but in the apartment.

she shrugs, "just saying what's on my mind," she cannot imagine the hurt he must have carried with him all these years, and if her words bring him any solace at all, she is glad. "you really think so?" she smiles at the idea of her getting along well with yongguk's sister, which would be highly possible considering she does have a way of making her way into someone's heart. "i think we'd have gotten along too, if she's anything like you." she doesn't doubt she'd find the same kindness that resides in yujin's brother. "and i'd have told her not to worry about you, because you're in good hands now." she brings his hand up as she presses a kiss atop his knuckles, even more determined than before to make sure his days with her are full of happiness. even though they didn't meet at a perfect timing, they have each other now and she wants to make him feel as at ease as he makes her.

🎤 Interview: “In music, we feel that it isn’t possible to please everyone”

Just like when girl idols who target uncle fans as a representative of male hearts, it it very important male idols can grasp/steal the hearts of females. Rookie idol male group can only chose a either a mushy and sweet love song concept for their debut track or a tough and powerful concept song that can’t be seen around the area to grasp the hearts of female fans. However the risks for both styles follow. On one side, sweet love songs have the danger of the level of masculinity hitting rock bottom, on the latter, a tough concept might have too much power so people wouldn’t majorly grasp the meaning. Rookie group B.A.P are not held back by these situations and chose the road of the tough concept. Their debut track “Warrior” doesn’t allow even 0.01% of the cuteness of other boybands and is perfectly shaped into a masculine song. From the intro starting with Bang Yongguk’s rapping, this song is consistently powerful from the beginning to end. The chorus incorporates crump dance, used to warn others, and leaves a deep impression.

“When we first received the song, I really liked it. Since I feel that men should be masculine I felt that ‘Warrior’ was a song that matched us perfectly.” (Yongguk)

“The whole feeling of the song makes our performance onstage really powerful. It was so powerful that at our first practice, my stamina started burning out.” (Youngjae)

However, B.A.P isn’t only at a level where people should judge by only their debut track. In their debut single, the song ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘Secret Love’ (feat. Song Jieun) show their musical competency which they worked hard on.  “In our debut single album many of our thoughts and opinions are inside. Configurations on our performance and concerns over the song are written in effort to show our artistic side.”  When B.A.P were asked if they had any concerned feelings on going on the direction of popular trends for fans, they responded, ”In music, we feel that it isn’t possible to please everyone” and “rather than going down a preplanned road, we want to go down our individual roads for us” and were very mature and non-rookie-like when revealing their deep musical feelings. During the interview, they revealed many of their musical related greeds. If B.A.P were to venture and try other domains, they replied that they wanted to study producing, radio DJ, music show mc, and duets. Also B.A.P lastly stated, “Inside the music industry, we want to be the group who are changing directions and starting trends”, together. Amidst the emphasis on girl groups and the scrambling of all the male idols in the same age group, they have risen onto their prepared stage. From here, if a group has incomplete preparation, those male groups would not want to face head to head against BAP.

As a result of meeting these 6 boys their amount of skill, preparation, and passion are real 100% ‘Warrior Legends.’ I bet even the bare bones are not defeat-able.

[ tequila sunrise ]  how would they spend their perfect day?

Spencer's perfect day would start at around 7AM to 8AM. He had always been an early riser, and his body had adjusted, automatically rising at any time within the specified time frame. Despite the early hour, the reaper doesn't get up immediately. He usually spends an hour or so on his phone or reading on his Kindle (if he finds a book that tickles his interest).

For now, he likes spending his time alone, doing meal prep as he plays the curated playlist he just made. Afterward, he'd keep the music playing as he watered, pruned, and trimmed his plants at home. He would then find things to keep him busy after eating lunch, which often includes: knitting, watching a TV show or movie, or simply going on a walk outside.

[ dry martini ]  what is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to them?

Spencer would like to put it on record that, in his humble opinion, he's able to slither out of embarrassing situations with grace. However, one of the most embarrassing things that had ever happened to him was that he had seen a girl carrying a hamster before, and since he absolutely adored animals, he asked them if he could pet it. The girl's silence was quite justified because not a second later, he realized that she was holding a muffin.

[ whiskey sour ]  what is the biggest lie they ever told someone?

As a reaper, Spencer's job was to guide people to the afterlife. He would sometimes get asked, "Does it hurt? Does death hurt?" And every time, he would simply reply, "No." But, in reality, he wasn't sure how people felt when he would drop them off at the gates of heaven, hell, or purgatory.

However, he does hope that death is like being carried to your bedroom. Just like those times when you were a child and fell asleep on the couch, watching television or simply waiting for someone. He hopes that it is as reassuring and comforting as the hands that tucked you into bed before closing the door to your room.

[ cosmopolitan ]  what is their happiest memory ever?

Spencer didn't have a lot of memories that he looked at with fondness. He'd been a reaper for far longer than he was a human, and though he understood that some people would quite literally kill to be immortal, he would much rather have lived a normal life as a human rather than be chosen by the universe to be a reaper.

One of his happiest moments was with @yongguk-ia when they were younger. He had been sitting down on the swings, lost in thought, when the little kid (back then) ran up to him, yapping on Opāru this and Opāru that. In typical Spencer manner, the reaper ignored the others' words and stared blankly back at them. What he did notice, though, was the way that the kid was shivering.

It was winter at that time, and the cold was biting. So although he did have to stop Yongguk from arguing with him and making it seem like Spencer was kidnapping them, the reaper treated them to a nice, hot dinner and sent him off with clothes more fitting for the temperature. His ears were ringing after the whole thing (he lived alone, so he was very much used to silence), but it left his heart feeling unusually full.

[ sidecar ]  what type of person are they most likely drawn to?

Romantically, Spencer's drawn to people who are able to match up to him when it comes to sarcasm and snide remarks. He enjoys the back and forth of it all and is reassured by the fact that they aren't the type to be offended too quickly because of his snark.

For friends, he doesn't really have much of a preference. As long as they understand that he's sarcastic by nature and that he has times when he goes MIA because he simply Is Not In The Mood For Social Interaction, they're keepers for him. (He does have a tendency to pick up strays, though).

DAY6 - Zombie. Spencer particularly relates with the lyrics "feel like I became a zombie. Not alive, but I'm still walkin.'"
